this is an excellent way to care fir guinea pigs... they do not try to escape! much easier to clean - you lay down the matching pad for 5-7 days then roll it up and shake it outdoors, pop it in the wash = ready to go it again. i also found the wooden hide outs on Walmart's app. it is so easy to reach in and pet them or reward them with a treat. i purchased a hanging water bottle and found out that you fill it to the top... squeeze the sides of the bottle until the water is at the rim... then screw on the lid and invert ... there should immediately be an air bubble that travels up the bottle. if you don't see the air bubble, turn the bottle upside-down and remove lid, squeeze sides until the water comes to the rim... quickly screw the top on and invert - you will see the air bubble go up ( yah!) now you have fresh water for your pigs with NO Water leaks! This is an Amazing system that makes caring for the piggies so easy and fun. i noticed a much better interaction with them - the contained "cage" is unnecessary... they do not want to escape. Having it open makes a quick pet or adjustment to their living space so much more "doable" I purchased the mini dustpan w/broom to sweep up the debris... thinking of getting a small hand vac to speed this process up... the sooner I remove the debris the longer the cage stays fresh. I Love this system and found Walmart's pricing to be The best!
