McCormick has been a company that has always provided excellent products. I love to experiment with various spices and I will use the Valencia Orange Peel in my cakes and muffins to spice up the flavor!

Great, shelf stable orange peel!
I have used this several times now to add a pop of flavor to marinades for chicken and pork, and glazes for salmon. The flavor it imparts is great and comparable to using fresh orange peel. It is nice to have a shelf stable option handy since I do not always have fresh oranges at home. I look forward to trying it out in more recipes. I want to try making scones with it! I received a free sample of McCormick Gourmet Valencia Orange Peel for review purposes. I give my honest opinion of products in all of my reviews!

Enhances your cooking
I was excited to try this in my blueberry scone recipe as I felt that it would add an extra level of flavor…and I was right. The orange peel melted into the scones perfectly and really brought out the perfect blueberry orange flavor of the scones. I also paired this with a simple marinade for my pork chops and it gave it a nice zesty citrus flavor. I love products that make you think outside the box and this product does just that. Use your imagination and you will be pleased with the results!
