Women's Muckster II Ankle Boot

I bought these to keep my feet dry and protected in spring/summer/fall to do yard work, and for taking my dogs out in our woods and yard. We live in a wooded area on a river, and have a couple of steep hills. I almost returned immediately - I tried them on in the house and they were extremely slippery for no apparent reason on the hardwood floor. I was concerned I would slip / fall outside. I carefully tried them outdoors and they were fine. I've been using them for approximately a month and so far, so good, as long as I don't wear them in the house / on the wood floor. Definitely for outside only and take them off before stepping indoors! I've used in temps ranging from 30 to 80 degrees F, conditions of rain, dew, heat, mud, sticks, brush. My feet have been comfortable at all temps and the traction had been sufficient for day to day activities. I typically wear a 7 or 7.5; size 7 of these boots is a perfect fit.
