I love these boots so much I have back up pairs. I am a carpenter and I'm on my feet for 14 hours a day and put in 15,000 steps. Ladders, mud the whole deal. I worn all brands of boots and nothing feels better than these. I have worn out four pairs. They are hard to get into for the first week. I use a shoe horn. But other than that they are light and slip resistant and waterproof to an extent. Riding a motorcycle in the rain they will soak in but going through a two inch deep puddle your fine.
