I'm not sure how the cost originally is 45.00. I purchased it on a flash deal for 15.00, which seems appropriate. The sticky electro-pads are pretty flimsy and only stick for so many uses. I had to use a band to keep in place around the waist where I used to hold it into place after about the 4-5th time used. the replacement pads are 4 for 20.00. I like the cordless for when im moving around, however its not a deal breaker for the cost should you need these more often. Ive had 4 major surgeries from breast cancer and this stimulator helps internal muscle tissue scaring all of it from surgeries, chemo radiation overall helps with recovery even years later. I use it neck, hips, stomach, back!
