I was absolutely amazed when I got the chairs. I didn't expect them to be so nice. the only thing I found to be off was the sizing as we had to return them for being too tall. although that may have been my son's fault if he didn't measure correctly. while I was looking for Bart chairs for his apartment. he works 7 days a week 70 to 90 hours per week so he left it up to me to find something in his style. The ease of putting the chairs was easy. however, you have to pay attention because when it comes to the legs you have to leave them a little loose in order to slide the shorter sticks into the legs. so you will have four legs. but then you have these other wood pieces that are shorter that go in between the four legs. This is why it's important to leave the lakes loose but once you start putting the legs on, leave them loose then put in those other four pieces and gently put the legs in place where you want then. tighten. This is the best way I can describe when it comes to putting it together. my son had to redo the legs a second time when he realized you couldn't start one leg at a time. you had to put the second leg on but you still had to leave that second leg a little loose in order for the second short piece to go in between the 2nd and the third leg. you'll understand what I mean. once you start putting it together yourself. it is easier than you think, but just remember once you start putting the legs on, leave them a little wobbly so you can put those short pieces in, then align them up straight to hold the short pieces in. then you can tighten all of them thereafter. thanks. when it comes to cleaning you will need to spot clean with some laundry detergent. I highly recommend these as they were beautiful by and I love the fact that there is the arms rests And for the price you cannot beat it. All. the other chairs that we found like this were almost $300 a piece and unaffordable when you need two to four. I could not find these in the shorter standard height so we ended up having to go with something different and not so nice. I was very disappointed and had hoped they had had a shorter size but they don't. make sure to measure from below your bottom of the overhang of the bar to the floor and then make sure that when you look at the legs on the website that you're doing from the top of the seat to the bottom of the leg to get proper measurement.
