When egg prices were insane Vital Farms kept their prices the same, meaning they cost the same as the generic stuff for awhile. During that time i switched and found them genuinely better, but now that generic prices have come back down, i have a hard time justifying the extra $3 a dozen again. If you dont mind it or have a special recipe in mind, I would recommend.

Pasture raised eggs are the real and only eggs anyone who knows about how chickens actually live and what they eat should buy from any store, cage free are not the same or even close, and any chickens that are fed an all vegan diet are depriving chickens of things they normally eat as they are not vegan.

I pay a lot more for these eggs... growing up on a farm...you KNOW what eggs should look %26 taste like. Look for bright orange yolks, that means the chickens ate good food, grazing on plants, bugs etc %26 that orange color translates to high carotenoid eggs!
