She wanted to bring back those childhood memories and this was the secret family recipe ! We never told Chanelle while she was growing up that mom didn't spend all day in the kitchen making her favorite onion soup. It came from a box but after 20 years had passed we told her the truth! That delicious onion soup was made from a box and the croutons were just Walmart bakery baguettes coated with a little olive oil and garlic seasoning then cut into pieces and baked in the oven for 15 minutes. We made it again as a family and it brought tears to my eyes to see how she has grown and matured and thankful that this family tradition can be shared treasured
