Lightweight so easy to install
This is super lightweight, maybe 10 pounds? Maybe 15 pounds? Anyways, we did NOT attach this to the bedframe, we attached it right to the wall using double sided tape. We shortened the legs (cut a portion off) attached them upside down using the Provided screws %26 pre drilled holes, and then used double sided tape on the wood poles (the tape sticks well to the poles) to attach to the wall, we are so pleased with it!

Perfect addition to make Cal King bed pop!
This is a great, basic/"clean-lines" design headboard at an incredible price! I did not want curves or buttons or brass tacks. Just something simple to add a bit of pop to our oddly shaped master bedroom wall. One note, is that we did have to order adapter brackets for mounting as they were not included... so as pictured, this is just sitting on the floor now until those arrive and it will be taller (adjustable height mount though is great with our a-line wall challenges). The "light blue" is a nice neutral coastal blue, with a just a very subtle hint of gray tone to it. I was a little worried it would be too light blue and look like a nursery color or to gray blue and look just gray, but it's PERFECT! Such a steal! I'm happy and at this price, I can update again if I want to without worry. So glad we did not go with a new CalKing bed head/footboard frame of any kind - just a headboard for the win!
