For the price, I was expecting a thin, even flimsy, cotton garment that would stay together a season or two, just something to put on that would cover me well enough so I could step outside without shocking the neighbors, as I've a use for those too, during a hot summer. What arrived was a very sturdy, well-sewn garment in a fabric heavy and warm enough to serve me into autumn and likely for many years to come! I tend to size up by default when ordering online but I didn't need to do that, as it turns out. In fact, it should be mentioned, that if you are frail and sensitive to the weight of a garment, you might want to stick to your usual size, in case the extra fabric of a larger one would be too heavy for you. I can definitely recommend this garment and this brand for quality and comfort and very good value for your money.
