I always liked plantains, one time I went over my cousin's uncle house and he made plantains along with a great big dinner. I was hooked ever since, and now I always have plantains with my dinner, at least as much as I can and when I can. The closest I can get to having plantains with my dinner and lunch is by ordering it from Walmart. It taste just as good, you can eat it with beans, a picky eater will love it, and it have the right amount of seasoning, you can also have them with onions, I love to eat plantains, it's a great caribbean side dish with any food you are having. Picky eaters will love them. A while ago I would also eat them with a platter of Jamaican food. Whether you eat them with Puerto Rican food or Jamaican food, it's delicious no matter what you are eating them with, buy a box of plantains today at your local Walmart. They are delicious, and have it with your dinner tonight or add it to the side of your lunch. I can't wait to order another box of plantains. Sweet Riped Plantains are delicious. I lived in Central America for 10 years and can say these frozen plantains are almost as good as fresh, without the work, very convenient for busy and/or small households. The taste and texture are the same as if prepared and baked from scratch.
