Even though they look a little plain I like them and my wife loves them. They are so very easy to install, and the have the three features that want in a porch light: 1. "dusk till dawn" night light," 2. instant on full illumination when someone walks into view, and 3. you can select your own light bulbs for use. The ones at the home improvement super stores mostly sold ones with pre-installed, permanent bulbs which meant you had to replace the entire fixture when the bulb went bad. I love these and recommend them.
