There are down times, when they won't read for awhile (not sure why), but they always come back. So far, so good. Setup was easy. The more wi-fi or i-Phones in an area, the more accurate the tracking seems to be. In that case, it gives you the last known location and time. May not be great for a rural or isolated area. Two are used to track my vehicles and two are used to track loved ones that have a tendency to wander and get lost. Thinking about getting another set of four for often misplaced valuables.
