Very loud volume. Unit produces light feedback when too close to ear phones and square. The package comes with three different sized ear phone covers. The volume is quite loud and has no low setting. I like these because they are easy, can be taken off and on easy, good size. Fits in pocket or purse. Battery last a long time before requiring a charge.

Worked wonderfully for a nursing home resident

I purchased this for someone leaving in a nursing home that I work at. She could not hear her tv unless it was on 100 (as loud as it would go). Now she can hear it at a normal low volume. Also can hear people talking at a normal level. It literally made a difference in someone's life and she had the biggest smile! I wish I would've bought this sooner!
