It's a great desk

I originally purchased this to go over my recliner, but yes, it's better suited for a bed. I can say that it is very sturdy. I have two monitors on it, and it still moves seamlessly, as I move it a lot during the day. However, one will get stuck under the book holder section and then accidentally lock. I don't like that, but it is a wonderful desk.

I saw this in an European IKEA catalog years ago. I had my friend make one for my daughter. I bought 2 of these for each one of my bedrooms. They come in handy for Sitting/eating/ writing in bed. It rooks so I can get into my drawers beneath the bed. I also can fold clothes and it makes for easier put away!
