I still believe in the original SQUARE waffles from Stop%26Shop, and Aunt Jemima! Not Belgium waffles. Unfortunately, stop%26shop or anywhere else does not have them anymore. As fir Aunt Jemima, the Company was sold thus began the birth of the round waffle! The Comoany that bought it is Pepsi Co. In 2921, Due to racial unrest, they discontinued AJ. and changed the name to Pearl Milling Company. zIt just doesn't taste the same and afain, they make round waffles like other companues. As a kid, Those AJ and S%26S brands were so good, I ate them untoasted RAW on the way to school. That recipe needs to come back! Until then, Eggis is best.

Don't like this set!

I am a proponent of stainless steel cookware. I have a few cast iron pieces as well. I think ceramic cookware is too fragile. I don't want to deal with the result of the costing chipping. What is under there? If it's aluminum, I would worry about health endangerment. I am a Senior citizen who wants to not have any more plaque in my brain. I don't remember being asked what substitute would be acceptable. I wouldn't have chosen this set.
