Ptlom Cat Litter Boxes are Very Sturdy

We have four of these Ptlom cat litter boxes. We have the XL side entry version that measures 22.8"L x 14.9"W x 13.7"H. These litter boxes are very sturdy: Each one weighs 11.1 lbs and the stainless steel is 2.3 to 2.7 mm thick when measured with a micrometer. I'm pretty sure I could put one upside down and stand on it; they are that sturdy. The stainless steel surface is very easy to clean. I do have two recommendations for Ptlom: (1) The 13.7" height should be increased a inch or so to account for a 3" layer of litter; my largest cat occasionally reaches the top when he urinates on the walls; and (2) For shin/leg safety, they should round the corners more; if anyone hits their shin on one, it's going to hurt them and might damage their pants and/or leg.

This litter box is so expensive for what it is : a big box with a hole in it. BUT it was exactly what I needed. My other cat (not pictured) exclusively stands up when she pees and pees on the back wall of the litter box. She was peeing over the side of our old litter box. So I needed to get a covered one but I was worried it'd leak through the crack— so when I saw this one that is all one piece and stainless steel I knew I needed it. It works perfect for us but it's definitely an investment. I hope it lasts a long time

Heavy duty stainless

This is a high quality heavy duty stainless steel litter box. I used it to cover our automatic cat feeder to keep out raccoons. The only issue was the entrance steel was a little sharp, so I added some plastic automotive trim to soften the edges.
