There something to be said regarding inexpensive watches. First, if you work in conditions that can ruin everything you have on, an inexpensive watch is of little loss. Second, they only have to be reliably accurate to ensure when you look at it, you are seeing the correct time, plus or minus a minute or less. If the watch happens to look good, it's easy to wear it against just about any wardrobe you have on that day. With this watch Vigoroso has provided, as the watch clearly states on its face, a Winner. The watch has a formal look to its face, but you can see it isn't an expensive watch because the face is flat. Printed with little to no texture or relief. The face of the watch has a texture print indicating some etching which is not present and the name and numerals have the indication of being pasted on. But together they look very good. The body of the watch is a polished stainless steel with the correct creases and no sharp edges. The watch has a date complication in a tiny relief box without magnification. The strap is leather and the buckle is well made. Winding the watch really puts forth the reality this is a low budget watch. Winding returns a grinding feel and noise a better watch would not exhibit. Over the period of a week, the watch lost only two minutes. Not bad and without winding it stayed running for three days. All pointing to a good watch but the grinding noise may be an indication of a failure after a year or so. In total, Vigoroso has presented a fine watch for everyday use and given the price, if it lasts only a year while I wear it a work, it will have been worth its price and more.
