Bought this blender on a whim. I use it to make smoothies mostly with frozen berries, peeled carrots, apples, oranges, peanut butter just to name a few ingredients. It lasted longer than my cuisineart personal blender. The cuisineart died after a few months of blending smoothies with carrots. $100 product down the drain
