Nice two – suet cake birdfeeder

So far I prefer this suet cake birdfeeder to the square basket suet cake feeders. I had two of those before and they worked fine until the wind blew too hard and broke the chains that held the basket cage. This one seems sturdier so far. It is a little more difficult to remove from the tree and fill with suit cakes, but so far it's doing its job.

All the birds and critters love it!

I love the design of this suet bird feeder, the metal roof to keep out the rain is great, and it's easy to clean and replace the suet. It attracts not only the birds and smaller woodpeckers, but the squirrels and chipmunks as well! I'm going to put up a squirrel feeder to hold peanuts and corn as the suet runs out too fast when the little contortionists hang upside down on the feeder to pig out on the suet!! I plan to purchase a second identical feeder so more birds can feed at the same time, as it's become increasingly popular once someone put out the "free food" memo. :)
