I thought it was all stainless steel inside. There's still a little piece of plastic. They try to cover, but it's still part of the brewing process. It didn't take long for it to sound like it was heating up. But when it was boiling rolling boiling, I could see the pot moving, it moved for light a minute. It took about 8 minutes in total for it to turn off first time. I wanted to make sure it turned off. It was three quarters full. I'm keeping it because it's still better than me. Boiling the water over or forgetting to turn it off, or forgetting about it Altogether, I'll look for Something Else. that all stainless steel more glass with no exposed plastic to the drinking water
