Try a hot oven hack .

These fries are good cooked in the oven at 450 for 10 minutes and then a minute or two under the broiler. I spray the baking sheet with cooking oil. to start. And a quick spritz of the oil spray over the fries themselves. Definitely not the same crispness like deep fried restaurant steak fries but I don't have an air fryer so the oven hack works ok.
