Times, they are a changin'

Back in the old days I only bough the name brand elbow noodles because the store brands used to stick to the pot. We like our noodles VERY soft, almost mushy. Times have changed and so the products changed. This time it was a good change. These noodles cook up just the way we want and are great in soups and goulash, they work really well for homemade macc and cheese also. Great flavor and texture. I keep these in a ziplcoc bag in the frig and they are handy whever I need them.

best option for macaroni

I prefer to use these noodles to make macaroni I get this in Velveeta cheese and I like to make macaroni cheese like that. a lot of times I just make a bowl at a time so that I can just get a perfect bowl of macaroni and cheese. half cup of noodles a tablespoon or two of butter an ounce or two of Velveeta cheese a splash of milk a little bit of salt and then you got a perfect bowl of macaroni and cheese basically.
