Silver Floss Naturally Fermented Shredded Sauerkraut, 2 lb Bag

I eat 2-tablespoons of fermented sauerkraut everyday to maintain a healthy gut. I use to always get Wildbrine raw organic sauerkraut but in these difficult financial times I now get naturally fermented and refrigerated Silver Floss. . It's delicious and much more affordable and very healthy. It might not have as many probiotics as the Wildbrine but it is certainly a fantastic product, super healthy and you're saving a lot of money!

Silver Floss sauerkraut is the only brand I buy. I prefer the bagged sauerkraut over canned. It is most like "barrel sauerkraut". The taste is fresh and it pairs well with a pork roast and some mashed potatoes. Slow cooking pork in Silver Floss sauerkraut results in very tender pork. This is a favorite hot dog topping for my family. It cooks up tender but does not get mushy. Near the end of cooking, I like to add hotdogs and kielbasa. According to local tradition Pork and Sauerkraut is thought to be lucky when served for New Years.
