Great Value Melt 'n Dip Easy Melting Cheese, 32 oz Block

This melting cheese is just as good as the name brand without the larger price tag. I use it for baked macaroni and cheese or make my own cheesy hamburger helper. Grilled cheese, cheese sauce, etc. I like that I can keep it in my pantry, because it doesn't need to be put in the refrigerator until you open it.

This melting cheese was originally purchased to make rotel, cheese dip… queso. A family favorite! I was a loyal Velveta user for more than 40 years. I got this, because I was trying to cut my expenses, everywhere possible. I've had mostly good experiences with the Great Value brand…. So I reluctantly bought it, but wasn't expecting to like it as much as I do. I have switched to a Great Value brand, instead of the Rotel too. The other day I bought Velveta, and Rotel, because I found them on sale. It tasted too buttery. I can now honestly say that I prefer the Great Value brands when making queso dip The HEB processed cheese, sold to look like Velveeta… no bueno!
