The buckle is pretty but very small. Fortunately, it has snaps so you can add your own buckle. I bought 2 and my son wears them every day to school. nice belt. I like they included a tool to make more holes if little brother wants to wear one. Thick material "leather"? nice western design.

The belt is a little narrow for my 8 year old and the buckle is tiny but attractive. I am glad it has snaps so I can change the buckle out. Will be a nice "hand-me-down for the 6 year old. Affordable and glad it has several adjustment holes.
