The meter will automatically detect the code number. 2.) Wait for the flashing blood drop symbol. 3.) Touch and hold the drop to the edge of the sample port until you hear a "beep" and the view window will fill with blood. 4.) The countdown mode will begin on the display window. After 5 seconds, your test result will appear. 5.) Remove the test strip from the meter and discard the used strip properly.

Accu check seems to be accurate

My dietitian gave me this meter because I wanted a more reliable one. It seems to be more accurate than my old one and so far I have only had 1 strip read error on me. This could have been caused by operator error.

Very sturdy strips made of super hard plastic

The strip has unmatched quality as far as the sturdiness . It's made a very hard plastic and its accuracy. Is very good. I love the way you can see the visual feel line turn red whenever you apply blood to the strip and it tends to take a few seconds to make sure that it has enough blood before the meter beeps and says it's ready to give a result this is a well-made strip that works with a whale made meter.
