I've been taking Equate One Daily Men's Multivitamin for a while now, and I can only describe the experience as follows: This stuff works for me the way spinach works for Popeye. Now, to be clear, I have not developed oversized forearms. I have not started speaking like a 1930s cartoon sailor. And I have yet to punch a battleship into orbit. But every morning I take one of these tablets and immediately feel like I should go accomplish something. Before the multivitamin: "Maybe I'll sit on the couch for a bit." After the multivitamin: "I should reorganize the garage, rotate the tires, build a deck, learn Italian, and finally figure out what that mysterious remote control does." The 200-count bottle is excellent because it lasts forever. I bought it so long ago that I'm pretty sure it has witnessed several major household events and at least three different lawn-mowing seasons. The tablets are easy enough to take and provide the reassuring feeling that I'm doing something healthy despite eating a lunch that occasionally consists of whatever was nearest the refrigerator door. I can't scientifically prove they're responsible, but ever since I started taking them I've had enough energy to tackle projects I previously classified as "future me problems." Future me is now getting overwhelmed. My favorite part is the confidence boost. I take one tablet and suddenly feel qualified to provide advice on topics I know absolutely nothing about. "Sure, I can fix that." "No problem." "How hard can plumbing be?" These are not vitamins. These are tiny daily confidence capsules. Five stars. Excellent value, easy to take, and powerful enough to make me feel like I should have a theme song playing every time I walk into a room.
