InnovAsian Orange Chicken, 36 oz (Frozen Meal)

It's an easy frozen meal that doesn't seem like a frozen dinner. I use an air fryer. I brown it lightly, if shake the basket 2nd turn in completely over at one point. Much more reasonable than carry out. I pair it with soup dumplings as an appetizer.

Is this JUST like takeout? Of course not, but I don't understand all the complaints. The chicken pieces I received were mostly the perfect size, except for a few tiny pieces or abnormally large pieces. My advice is to use an air fryer. They could probably cut the sauce down by 33% unless most people like theirs soupy. I ended up using one full sauce packet and less than half of the 2nd packet and it was plenty of sauce pooled at the bottom of the bowl. Another point of contention for others is the claim to be a 'family size' portion. I'm guessing the manufacturer expects people to add this alongside other sides like rice, chow mien, and eggrolls and do not expect an entire family to fill up on just this chicken. I'd say this is perfect for a family of two adults and two children when combined with sides. Four hungry adults though might need a 2nd box. $10 really isn't bad considering Chinese Restaurants are selling a single serving for around that price.
