Carl Buddig, Turkey Lunchmeat 2 oz Plastic Pouch, Refrigerated

New baby in the house; no time to shop; ordered online and 3 hours later the refrigerator is full of good food. Not a lot of meat. 4 slices. Next time I'll shop a little longer to get enough meat to feed the family a meal.

Since there is no competition from other brands for a single serve portion of lunch meat, 5 stars seems reasonable as long as this is passable at all. Buddig has been doing this for a long time. I do prefer turkey with a smoke flavor and this has that despite NO smoke flavoring listed in the ingredients. This is highly processed meat, sliced extra thin. I only wanted a bit of meat for one sandwich. I like deli sliced turkey more but I didn't want to buy a lot at this time. It is passable. I had it on pumpernickel with cheese, lettuce and avocado slices. I avoid beef as much as possible because it is an environmental disaster except I sometimes get a craving for corned beef and Buddig offers that as well in a single serving. The single serve pouch makes this convenient for packing one lunch or making a sandwich on the fly.
