For the most part, this item is used in the lunch box carried to the workplace. For example …Food items are stored in small zipper type plastic storage bags. A small salad, some bacon bits or croutons . A couple of condiment packets, a couple of seasoning packets. All go inside this container for lunch. The screw type lid remains intact. These are easy to clean. Microwave and dishwasher safe. Do not recommend for use in the freezer. Plastic becomes brittle and is easily shattered. Have had great results for use as food storage in the fridge. I use this item in the pantry to store single serving condiment packets, tea/coffee bags, small individually wrapped candies, artificial sweetener packets, you name it. This is a very convenient item.
