. Directions. Adults and children 2 years of age and older:. For use as a paste. ■ add enough water to the sodium bicarbonate to form a paste. ■ apply to the affected area of the skin as needed, or as directed by a doctor. ■ children under 2 years: ask a doctor. For use as a soak in the bath. ■ dissolve 1 to 2 cups in a tub of warm water. ■ soak for 10 to 30 minutes as needed, or as directed by a doctor. ■ pat dry (do not rub) to keep a thin layer on the skin. ■ children under 2 years: ask a doctor. For use as a compress or wet dressing. ■ add sodium bicarbonate to water to make a mixture in a container. ■ soak a clean, soft cloth in the mixture. ■ apply cloth loosely to affected area for 15-30 minutes. ■ repeat as needed or as directed by a doctor. ■ discard mixture after each use. ■ children under 2 years: ask a doctor. ■ add ½ teaspoon to ½ glass (4 fl. oz.) of water every 2 hours, or as directed by physician. Dissolve completely in water. Accurately measure ½ teaspoon. ■ do not take more than the following amounts in 24 hours:. ■ seven ½ teaspoons. ■ three ½ teaspoons if you are over 60 years. ■ do not use the maximum dosage for more than 2 weeks.

Boxed version ALWAYS perfume-damaged
Since such heavy perfumes are the norm now, the boxed version of baking soda is always heavily perfume-damaged and ineffective. It's not rocket science to not store absorbant materials near perfumes or in the laundry and cleaning aisle. And for 3 years now every single order, bar maybe 2, have been so heavily perfume damaged that I have almost totally stopped buying from Walmart. That said, they have the best price on these bags and the baking soda is very effective for removing odors and soaking up spills like from oil. If I could buy a 50gallon barrel of this stuff, I would! I work a lot with vintage and antique materials and there's truly no substitute for removing smoke, mold, perfume, or biologic odors.

I like everything about arm%26hammer baking soda,it is one of the things I try to make sure I have at home, baking soda is the jack of all trades, when it comes to cleaning any surface, naturally bleaching anything,brushing your teeth,a natural deodorizer,is safe for all surfaces,use in recipes,it is the best thing I clean my jewelry with, especially sterling silver,makes it beautiful, I just make a paste with it,then use a toothbrush to clean each piece,then rinse,then use a soft cloth to polish it up, I take before%26after pictures whenever I do my jewelry!!!
