In another car i have the older version. It saved me a lot of time on the side of the road for the investigation of the wreck that i was on the receiving end of. Installed this one in the new car and it had 1 flaw. i worked with the customer service team (maybe 10 emails) to figure out that it was a problem with that 1 camera. They sent me a new one, snapped it in today and it works perfectly. Im very satisfied with the customer service experience and will continue to use this brand. during that accident, i had the video downloaded and cropped for the cop before he arrived. he gave me the report number and sent me in my way immediately once he saw I was not at fault. get a dash cam

No Phone Data When Connected

It works fine. The only problem is it blocks my data when the app is connected. This could be a problem during long drives and I want to play YouTube on the road or have my GPS online. I worry about the possibility to retrieve a needed clip if something happens. I hope it will save the video if I connect it after the fact but I don't know yet. Major flaw imo.
