Ankle strap is too long.

This sandal seemed well made and comfortable, but the ankle strap was ridiculously long and there was no way to shorten it. I thought about cutting it shorter and sewing back together, but I don't have the proper sewing machine for that, and the strap is too thick to get a sewing needle through by hand. Too bad because I really liked the look and feel of these.
