it was purchased as a gift and It was played with (a lot of fun) approximately 20 mins before it landed in the grass! With several attempt to put it back into flight it apparently burnt the motors out :( ... rule: 1. If it lands unexpectantly DO NOT try to take it off again! Worked out of the box. Folds to fit in a nice case. Got for a 6 year old after another model failed to operate properly. The tiny, mixed language printed instructions are not super clear. I recommend the snap on blade protectors, even though it then does not fit in the case. I have not used it with a cellphone yet, or the camera, just manually so far.
