for Black Friday sale a $20 beginner drone this thing other than the battery life is a great way to learn whether it's a good idea for youngsters and adults alike to see if they want to play with drones without spending a bunch of money it is exactly what it says it is but you have to think of it as a beginner's toy. that way if you enjoy it like I do having fun with little things I'm considering buying a good drone in a couple of years now but this is amusing me at the moment and it is a very amusing toy. doesn't break easy so it's okay to let it bang against the wall or hit the ground a little hard it's not. in the house the Drone was landed on my arm by my friend so yes it is a good starting way and it makes you Google no matter your age 7 or 70

Very Capable Beginner Type Drone

This is a good beginner drone. It is small-ish but is very capable. Some features I like are the one button actions - takeoff, landing, return. There is good range and capabilities for beginners to advanced users. The camera feature is great on this low cost drone but the kind of short battery duration makes you want more. It comes in a nice case that keeps everything together. All in all can't go wrong for the price.

Drone is teaching me

This a great drone for beginners. I've had it for a few months, and I'm finally getting the hang of it. I haven't been practicing a lot, because I got too frustrated. Now I've taken more time, read the manual a few more times and watched a lot of videos. Really makes a difference. Make sure both batteries are fully charged, and the remote has fresh batteries after every 4th attempt. Your choice of batteries will determine how often to replace. It's really a good drone to learn on. If it flies away or lands in a tree, it's not a big deal. The more expensive drones operate on the same remote design, so learn on the cheap one. What you learn will apply on the upper valued drones. I get about 4 minutes per battery, but I take off, crash, take off, crash, repeat. I'm getting better. I don't even attempt to use the camera yet. Taking pictures isn't what's important to me until I can control it's flight. The camera would distract me, so I suggest, until you have control, leave the camera alone.
