Small item; smaller than a credit card. Looks much larger in the image. Didn't work with the mini card (cell phone) but to be fair, the card may have been blank. Cord is short, like a foot, so, you'll need to keep it next to where you plugged it in. No on screen acknowledgment and nothing but the little light on the reader lets you know it's on.
