Fight Hunger

Now in its 13th year, the annual Fight Hunger Spark Change campaign invites Walmart and Sam’s Club customers, members, suppliers and the Feeding America® network of partner food banks to join in the fight against food insecurity. To date, the campaign has helped generate more than $227 million for Feeding America® and local partner food banks across the country, securing more than 2.3 billion meals* for people facing hunger. Working with over 25 suppliers across Walmart and Sam’s Club, we aim to make it easy for customers and members to fight hunger in their communities while they shop. Note: *$1 helps provide at least 10 meals secured by Feeding America® on behalf of local partner food banks.

There are three easy ways for customers and members to participate during the campaign to support their local Feeding America partner food bank:

(1) Purchase Participating Products: Buy participating supplier products in-store or online to trigger a donation:

· At Walmart: 1 item purchased = 1 meal* secured on behalf of a local Feeding America partner food bank.

· At Sam's Club: 1 item purchased = 5 meals* secured on behalf of a local Feeding America partner food bank.

(2) Donate at Checkout: Support your local Feeding America partner food bank by donating or rounding up your total at the register in any Walmart store or Sam's Club, or when shopping on Walmart.com and the Walmart app.

(3) Give or Volunteer Online: Take your impact further by visiting our dedicated campaign sites or giving your time:

· Donate Online: Visit FeedingAmerica.org/Walmart or FeedingAmerica.org/SamsClub.

· Volunteer Locally: We encourage everyone to roll up their sleeves and support local Feeding America partner food banks through service. Find an opportunity at FeedingAmerica.org/Volunteer.

Note: *The monetary equivalent of these meals will be donated by each supplier, to help secure a meal on behalf of a local Feeding America partner food bank.

Purchases and donations made in-store or online are linked to zip codes and go to the local Feeding America® partner food bank in that community, meaning that donations stay local and help people in your community. To date, the campaign has helped generate more than $227 million for Feeding America® and local partner food banks across the country, securing more than 2.3 billion meals* for people facing hunger.

To celebrate America’s birthday, Walmart and Sam’s Club associates are aiming to log 500,000 volunteer hours via Spark Good.
