Finding the right size for your urban jacket is all about checking the sizing chart and measuring yourself. Most jackets have a size guide—look for chest, waist, and sleeve measurements. If you’re between sizes, consider how you want the jacket to fit: a snug fit is great for layering, while a looser fit offers more comfort. Don’t forget to factor in what you’ll wear underneath, like sweaters or hoodies. If you’re shopping for kids or plus sizes, there are special sections to help narrow your choices. If you need more help, Walmart’s customer service is always available.

• Check the care label first—some jackets are machine washable, while others need spot cleaning or dry cleaning.
• For most urban jackets, use a gentle cycle and cold water, then hang to dry to keep the shape.
• For faux fur or suede styles, spot clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
• Don’t use bleach or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the fabric.
• Always zip up and turn the jacket inside out before washing to protect details and colors.

Following these steps can help your jacket last longer and look fresh.

Many urban jackets are designed with water-resistant or water-repellent materials, making them a solid choice for light rain and unpredictable weather. Look for features like hoods, adjustable cuffs, and sealed seams for extra protection. If you need something for heavy rain, consider jackets labeled as waterproof. Urban jackets are versatile, so you can find styles that balance weather protection with street-ready looks. For more options, check out the rain gear section at Walmart.

Absolutely! Urban jackets are perfect for layering. You can pair them with sweaters, hoodies, or thermal tops for extra warmth. Choose a jacket with a relaxed fit if you plan to layer underneath. Look for insulated or quilted styles for winter, or lightweight options for milder weather. Layering not only keeps you warm, but also lets you mix up your style. Just make sure your layers aren’t too bulky so you stay comfortable and mobile.

• Clean your jacket before storing to prevent stains from setting.
• Hang it on a sturdy hanger to keep its shape, or fold gently for softer styles.
• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to avoid fading.
• If your jacket is packable, use the storage pouch provided or a breathable garment bag.
• For faux fur or delicate fabrics, avoid stacking heavy items on top.

These tips can help your urban jacket stay in great condition until you’re ready to wear it again.
