The term "triangle top body type" usually refers to a swimsuit or bra style, not a body shape. A triangle top features two triangular fabric pieces that cover the bust and are often adjustable with ties around the neck and back. This design is popular for its minimal look and customizable fit. Triangle tops work for a variety of body shapes and are especially loved for their versatility—whether you want more or less coverage, you can adjust the ties to suit your comfort and style preferences.

A "pubikini" is a playful term for a very minimal bikini bottom that offers less coverage than traditional styles. Unlike a standard triangle bikini top, which covers the bust, a pubikini focuses on the lower half and is designed to sit low on the hips with a high-cut leg. While triangle tops are about adjustable coverage for the chest, pubikinis are all about bold, minimal coverage for the hips and waist. If you're considering this style, make sure it fits your comfort level and the setting where you'll wear it.

The triangle top bikini has its roots in mid-20th century swimwear fashion. It became popular in the 1960s and 1970s as swimwear trends shifted toward more minimalist and adjustable designs. The simple triangle shape, paired with string ties, offered a customizable fit and a sleek silhouette that quickly caught on at beaches and pools worldwide. Today, triangle tops remain a classic choice for their timeless style and adaptability to different body types and fashion preferences.

• Pros: Triangle tops are adjustable, making them easy to fit to your body. They offer a classic, flattering look and can be tied in different ways for comfort. Many styles are available, from padded to unpadded, so you can choose your preferred level of coverage.
• Cons: Triangle tops may offer less support than other styles, which might not be ideal for all bust sizes. Some wearers find they need to adjust the ties throughout the day for a secure fit. Coverage can also be more minimal compared to other swim tops.

Choosing the right size triangle top is all about comfort and fit. Start by checking the size chart for each brand, as sizing can vary. Look for adjustable features like neck and back ties, which let you customize the fit. If you're between sizes, consider whether you prefer more or less coverage—sizing up can offer more fabric, while sizing down may give a skimpier look. If you're shopping at Walmart, you can use the online fit guides or virtual try-on tools to help you decide before you buy.
