To hang a car air freshener, just look for the small loop or string at the top of the product.

• Find a stable spot in your vehicle, like the rearview mirror.
• Attach the air freshener so it hangs freely and doesn’t block your view.
• If your freshener has packaging, remove only part of it at first to gradually release the scent.

This helps the fragrance last longer and avoids overwhelming smells. Don’t place fresheners in locations where they could block airbags or create distractions while driving.

The lifespan of car air fresheners can vary based on design and how much air flows inside your car.

• Most hanging air fresheners last between 2 to 6 weeks.
• Fragrance cans or vent clips may have slightly different durations.
• Keeping your car in cooler temperatures and minimizing airflow can sometimes help scents last longer.

It’s a good idea to check product packaging for specific details, since each type is a little different.

Absolutely! Car air fresheners work well in other spots where you’d like fresh scents.

• Hang them in closets, lockers, or even bathrooms.
• Just make sure they’re not placed directly on surfaces, as some fragrances or oils can cause staining.

Always follow usage instructions from packaging and avoid putting them near food or in confined spaces without ventilation.

If you’ve got extra air fresheners, you’ll want to keep them in their original packaging to maintain maximum freshness.

• Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
• Seal partially opened fresheners inside a zip-top bag to prevent the scent from escaping.

This helps preserve fragrance until you’re ready to use them. Make sure to keep them out of reach of children and pets.

Besides using air fresheners, regular cleaning goes a long way.

• Vacuum seats and floors to remove dust and debris.
• Wipe down dashboards and door panels.
• Remove trash and open windows occasionally for ventilation.

Combining these habits with your favorite air freshener can keep your car smelling inviting every day.
