Topps Update Series is popular among collectors because it features rookies, traded players, and highlights from the season. Collectors often enjoy the variety of inserts, parallels, and chances to find limited edition cards. Whether you're new to collecting or adding to your set, this series offers a mix of current stars and future prospects. Keep in mind, the value and enjoyment can depend on your collecting goals—some look for investment potential, while others enjoy building complete sets or chasing favorite players.

Several factors can affect a card's value, including:

• Player popularity – Rookies and stars tend to be more sought after.
• Condition – Cards in mint condition are usually worth more.
• Rarity – Limited edition, numbered, or autographed cards often have higher value.
• Demand – Market trends can impact what collectors are looking for.

If you're curious about a specific card, consider researching recent sales or consulting with a reputable grading service for a professional opinion.

The 'junk wax era' refers to a period in the late 1980s and early 1990s when trading card companies produced cards in very large quantities. Because so many were made, most cards from these years are common and not highly valuable. However, some rare variations or error cards from this time can still be of interest to collectors. If you're sorting through older cards, it's helpful to check the year and look for unique features that might set certain cards apart.

Topps regularly releases new update series for various sports and entertainment themes. Upcoming releases often include the latest rookies, traded players, and special inserts. You can find new arrivals and pre-order opportunities at Walmart, both online and in-store. Checking back frequently or signing up for alerts can help you stay updated on the latest releases and exclusive box sets.

Proper storage helps keep your cards in great condition. Here are some tips:

• Use protective sleeves or top loaders to prevent scratches and bends.
• Store cards in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
• Consider organizing them in binders or storage boxes designed for trading cards.
• Handle cards with clean hands to avoid fingerprints or smudges.

These steps can help preserve your collection for years to come.
