Choosing the right swim vest depends on your child's age, weight, and swimming ability.

• Check the weight range: Each vest is designed for a specific weight range, so always match it to your child's current weight.
• Look for adjustable features: Adjustable straps or buckles can help ensure a snug, comfortable fit as your child grows.
• Consider the activity: Some vests are better for learning to swim, while others are ideal for pool play. Read product descriptions for details.

Always supervise children in and around water, even when they're wearing a swim vest.

Floating mats can be a fun addition to pool or lake days, but safety depends on proper use and supervision.

• Weight limits: Always check the mat's weight capacity and don't exceed it.
• Supervision: Children should be watched closely at all times while on a floating mat.
• Location: Use mats in calm, shallow water and avoid areas with strong currents or waves.

Floating mats are not a substitute for life jackets or swim vests, especially for non-swimmers.

Keeping pool floats clean helps them last longer and stay safe for use.

1. Rinse floats with fresh water after each use to remove chlorine or salt.
2. Use mild soap and a soft cloth for deeper cleaning, then rinse thoroughly.
3. Let floats air dry completely before storing to prevent mold or mildew.
4. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to avoid material damage.

Regular cleaning and proper storage can help maintain your floats for many seasons.

Baby pool floats are typically designed for infants and toddlers, with age and weight guidelines listed on each product.

• Most baby floats are suitable for ages 6 to 24 months, but always check the specific product details.
• Look for features like secure seats and sun canopies for added comfort and protection.

Regardless of age, always keep babies within arm's reach and never leave them unattended in or near water.

Swim vests can support children as they build confidence in the water.

• They provide buoyancy, which helps kids practice kicking and arm movements.
• Some vests are designed for swim training, offering a balance between support and freedom of movement.

While vests can be a helpful tool, swimming skills develop best with guidance and supervision. Consider swim lessons for structured learning and always supervise children during water activities.
