Those popular, squeezable toys you see everywhere are often called Squishy Pops or fidget squishies. They come in all sorts of shapes, like animals, food, and even characters from favorite shows. Many are designed to be slow-rising, meaning they return to their original shape after you squeeze them. These toys are loved for their soft, tactile feel and satisfying squish, making them a hit with kids and adults alike. You’ll find a wide variety of squishy toys in Walmart’s toy section, especially under sensory and novelty toys.

If your squishy toy pops or tears, here are a few things you can try:

• Check for leaks or holes: If it’s a foam squishy, small tears can sometimes be patched with clear glue, but results may vary.
• For liquid-filled toys: It’s best to stop using them if the filling leaks, as the contents aren’t intended for play once exposed.
• Safety first: Always keep broken squishies away from small children and pets to avoid accidental ingestion.

If you purchased your squishy at Walmart, check your order details to see if it’s eligible for a return or exchange according to Walmart’s return policy.

Many people find that squishy toys can help with focus and stress relief, including those with ADHD. The repetitive squeezing motion and soft texture can offer a calming sensory experience. However, everyone’s needs are different, and what works for one person may not work for another. Squishy toys are often used in classrooms, at home, or even at work as a quiet way to keep hands busy. For specific support or advice, it’s always a good idea to consult with a healthcare professional.

Right now, squishy toys shaped like popsicles, animals, and mystery capsules are especially popular. Many kids love collecting series-based squishy toys that come in surprise packs, adding an element of fun to each purchase. Slow-rise squishies and fidget toys with popping features are trending, too. You’ll find a wide selection of these hot items in Walmart’s toy aisles, especially in the sensory and novelty toy sections.

To clean a squishy pop toy, gently wipe the surface with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid soaking the toy in water, as this can damage the material or affect the slow-rise effect. For toys with textured surfaces, use a soft brush to remove dirt from crevices. Let the toy air dry completely before using it again. Keeping your squishy toys clean helps them last longer and stay safe for play.
