Most liquid-filled squishies use a soft, flexible shell with a clear fluid inside for that satisfying squeeze. The shell is often a rubbery material like TPR or silicone, and the fill is typically water or a clear gel. Some styles add floating confetti, glitter, or jelly beads for extra visual feedback. You’ll also see variations labeled as “crystal clear,” “water-filled,” or “liquid gel.”

• Check each item’s description on Walmart.com for specific materials.
• Avoid sharp objects and rough play to prevent punctures.
• If you prefer a firmer feel, look for gel-filled options; for lighter squeeze, water-filled styles may suit you.

Actual texture can vary by design and fill type.

On this page, “squishy” can mean a few different textures used in toys and DIY kits:

• Liquid gel fills: Clear, flowy gel inside a flexible shell for a fluid squeeze.
• Water fills: Lighter, sloshy feel in water-filled sensory balls.
• Slime compounds: Stretchy, moldable play slime made with a slime activator.
• Cured silicone: Two-part silicone mixes that cure into a soft, rubber-like piece when poured into molds.

If you’re shopping, skim the product details for terms like “liquid gel,” “water-filled,” “slime activator,” or “two-part silicone.” Each delivers a different kind of tactile feedback, so choosing the right one depends on whether you want flowy, stretchy, or soft-flex feels.

You’ll find a range of squishy toys and kits here, each with its own feel and use:

• Liquid-filled balls: Clear or colored gel, sometimes with glitter or beads, great for desk fidgeting.
• Water-filled sensory spheres: A lighter, splashy squeeze for quick stress relief.
• Novelty shapes: Bottle- or fruit-inspired clear gel toys with floating pieces for visual fun.
• Slime kits and activators: For stretchy, moldable play at home.
• DIY silicone squishy kits: Mix-and-pour sets to create soft, flexible shapes in molds.

Consider where you’ll use it—at a desk, on the go, or for crafting—and check product descriptions for size, texture, and fill type.

There are a couple of popular routes, depending on the texture you want:

• Stretchy slime: Combine school glue with a slime activator. Add the activator gradually while stirring until it pulls together. You can personalize with glitter or confetti. Results can vary based on ratios and mixing.
• Molded silicone squishy: Use a two-part silicone kit with a 1:1 mix ratio. Blend parts A and B as directed, pour into a clean mold, and allow to cure for the recommended time.

For both, protect your work surface, follow the kit instructions, and supervise kids. Texture, firmness, and cure time may vary by product, room temperature, and technique.

Care can help extend the life of liquid-filled squishies, though durability varies by design:

• Cleaning: Wipe the surface with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air-dry. Avoid soaking or harsh cleaners.
• Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Store away from sharp objects to reduce puncture risk.
• Use tips: Avoid excessive pulling or twisting. If you notice leaks or damage, it’s best to discontinue use.

Check the item’s care notes on Walmart.com for any product-specific guidance. Following these simple steps can help maintain clarity and squeeze feel over time.
