Spray Template(299)

Choosing the right stencil size depends on your project's surface and design goals.

• For small crafts or detailed work, go with smaller stencils for better control.
• Larger stencils work well for walls, floors, or big signs.
• Measure your surface before buying to make sure the stencil fits comfortably, leaving some space around the edges.
• Many stencil sets offer a variety of sizes, so you can mix and match for different effects.

Checking the product description for dimensions can help you find the best fit for your DIY project.

Most stencils in this category are made from durable PET plastic or acetate, making them reusable for many projects.

• After each use, gently clean the stencil with mild soap and water to remove paint or ink.
• Let it dry completely before storing flat or hanging to prevent warping.
• With proper care, these stencils can last through numerous painting, drawing, or crafting sessions.

Always handle with care to avoid bending or tearing, especially with intricate designs.

Spray stencils are versatile and can be used on a variety of surfaces, including:

• Wood (signs, furniture, crafts)
• Walls (for murals or accent designs)
• Fabric (like tote bags or t-shirts)
• Glass, canvas, and even floors

Just make sure the surface is clean and dry before applying the stencil. For best results, secure the stencil in place with painter's tape or adhesive spray to prevent shifting during painting.

To help prevent paint from seeping under your stencil:

• Use a light touch and apply paint in thin layers, either with a spray or a stencil brush.
• Secure the stencil tightly to your surface using painter's tape or a low-tack adhesive.
• Let each layer dry before adding more paint if you want a bolder look.

Practicing on a scrap piece first can help you get a feel for the right technique and avoid unwanted smudges.

Many stencils are designed with safety in mind and can be used for kids' crafts with adult supervision.

• Look for stencils with smooth edges and larger cutouts for easier handling.
• Always supervise children, especially when using spray paint or sharp tools.
• Consider using water-based paints or markers for a safer, low-mess experience.
