Small table covers are often called tablecloths, table toppers, doilies, or table mats, depending on their size and style. For side tables, nightstands, or coffee tables, you might see terms like "small tablecloth," "bedside table cover," or "end table cloth." If you're shopping online, searching for "small table cover" or "table topper" can help you find the right fit for your space. Each style brings a different look, from lace doilies for a classic touch to fitted vinyl covers for easy cleaning.

If you don't have a traditional table cover, there are plenty of creative alternatives! You can use:

• Placemats for smaller surfaces
• Scarves or shawls for a cozy, layered look
• Tea towels or fabric napkins for quick protection
• Decorative trays to organize and protect the tabletop

Just make sure whatever you use is clean and fits the table well. These options can add style and help protect your table from scratches or spills.

Tablecloths come in a wide range of sizes, but for small tables like nightstands or end tables, you’ll often find sizes starting around 16 x 35 inches for rectangles or 24 inches in diameter for rounds. The best size depends on your table’s dimensions and how much overhang you prefer. Always measure your table before choosing a cover to ensure the right fit and look.

While Dollar Tree and other discount stores may carry table covers, Walmart offers a wide selection of small table covers in various styles, materials, and sizes both online and in-store. Shopping at Walmart gives you more options for fabric, design, and durability, so you can find the perfect cover for your space. Be sure to check product details to match your table’s measurements and your style preferences.

To choose the right size, start by measuring your table’s length, width, or diameter. For a classic look, add 6 to 12 inches to each side for overhang. If you prefer a fitted style, look for covers with elastic edges that match your table’s exact dimensions. Always check the product description for sizing details, and consider how much drape or coverage you want for your table’s shape and use.
