Choosing the right mailer size depends on what you’re shipping. Here’s a quick guide to help:

• Measure your item: Add a little extra space for padding and easy sealing.
• Consider thickness: If your item is bulky, opt for a larger or padded mailer.
• Check weight limits: Make sure your mailer can handle the item’s weight without tearing.
• Think about protection: Fragile items may need bubble or padded mailers for extra cushioning.

Walmart offers a variety of mailer sizes, so you can find one that fits your needs for small package postage.

Bubble mailers and poly mailers serve different shipping needs:

• Bubble mailers: These have a padded interior, offering extra protection for delicate or fragile items like electronics or jewelry.
• Poly mailers: Made from durable plastic, these are lightweight and water-resistant, ideal for clothing or soft goods.

Consider what you’re mailing and how much protection it needs. Both types are available for small package postage at Walmart, so you can choose the best fit for your shipment.

Many mailers sold at Walmart can be used for international shipping, but it’s important to check a few things first:

• Postal regulations: Confirm that the mailer meets the destination country’s requirements.
• Stamps and labels: Make sure you have the correct postage and customs forms attached.
• Durability: Choose sturdy, well-sealed mailers to withstand longer transit times.

For specific guidelines, check with your shipping carrier. Walmart’s selection of mailers and postage supplies can help you prepare your small packages for international delivery.

Most mailers come with a self-sealing adhesive strip for quick closure. Here’s how to get a secure seal:

1. Place your item inside, leaving enough space to close the flap easily.
2. Peel off the protective strip to reveal the adhesive.
3. Press the flap down firmly along the entire edge to ensure it sticks well.

For extra security, you can add packing tape over the seal. This helps keep your package closed during shipping and gives you peace of mind.

For small packages, you’ll usually need standard postage stamps or shipping labels, depending on the mailer’s size and weight:

• Lightweight envelopes: First Class or Forever stamps may be enough for smaller, lighter items.
• Heavier or padded mailers: You may need additional postage or a shipping label, especially if the package exceeds standard letter weight limits.
