Choosing the right size sliding sofa depends on your room layout and how you plan to use it. Here are a few tips:

• Measure your space: Use a tape measure to check the area where you want the sofa. Leave enough room for walking and other furniture.
• Consider doorways and hallways: Make sure the sofa can fit through entry points during delivery.
• Think about seating needs: If you often host guests or have a large family, a larger sectional might be best. For smaller spaces, a loveseat or compact sleeper sofa could work well.

Review the product dimensions listed on Walmart.com to help you decide.

Sliding sofas are popular for their versatility and space-saving design. Here are some practical features to look for:

• Pull-out beds: Great for turning your sofa into a guest bed when needed.
• Built-in storage: Some models include drawers or hidden compartments for blankets and pillows.
• USB charging ports: Handy for charging devices without extra cords.
• Adjustable backrests: Lets you customize your comfort for lounging or sleeping.

Consider which features match your lifestyle to get the most out of your sliding sofa.

Keeping your sliding sofa clean helps it last longer and look great. Here are some tips:

• Vacuum regularly: Use a soft brush attachment to remove dust and crumbs from cushions and crevices.
• Spot clean spills: Blot spills right away with a clean, damp cloth. Check the care label for recommended cleaning solutions.
• Wash removable covers: If your sofa has removable covers, follow the washing instructions provided.
• Avoid harsh chemicals: Stick to mild cleaners to protect the fabric or upholstery.

Regular care can help maintain your sofa’s appearance and comfort.

Many sliding sofas are designed for easy home assembly, but the process can vary by model. Here’s what to keep in mind:

• Check the instructions: Review the assembly guide included with your sofa before starting.
• Gather tools: Most sofas require basic tools like a screwdriver, which may or may not be included.
• Ask for help if needed: Some parts may be heavy or awkward to handle alone, so having a second person can make assembly safer and easier.

If you prefer, Walmart offers assembly services in some areas for added convenience.

Sliding sofas can be a great choice for small apartments because they offer multiple functions in one piece of furniture. Here’s why:

• Space-saving design: Many models convert into beds or include storage, helping you maximize your living area.
• Flexible seating: Modular and sectional options let you arrange the sofa to fit your space.
• Easy to move: Some sliding sofas are lightweight or come in sections, making them easier to rearrange or transport.

Be sure to measure your space and check product details to find a sofa that fits your needs.
