Choosing the right size for a sleep-tracking ring is important for comfort and accurate tracking. Most rings come with a sizing guide or kit—be sure to follow the instructions provided. Here are some tips:

• Measure your finger at the end of the day when it's largest.
• Consider slight swelling during sleep.
• If you're between sizes, it's usually better to size up for comfort.
• Check if the product page offers a printable sizing tool or a way to request a sizing kit before purchase.

Proper sizing helps ensure the sensors stay in contact with your skin for reliable results.

Many sleep-tracking rings are designed to be water-resistant or waterproof, but it's always best to check the specific product details. Look for ratings like IP68, which means the ring can handle water exposure such as handwashing or showering. However, prolonged exposure to hot water or soaps may affect the ring's finish over time. For best results, review the care instructions included with your ring and remove it if you're unsure about its water resistance.

Keeping your sleep-tracking ring clean helps maintain its appearance and function. Here’s how you can do it safely:

• Wipe the ring gently with a soft, damp cloth.
• Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the sensors or finish.
• For stubborn spots, use a mild soap diluted in water, then dry thoroughly.
• Don’t submerge the ring unless the product details confirm it’s waterproof.

Regular cleaning can help your ring stay comfortable and accurate.

Sleep-tracking rings can monitor a variety of data to help you understand your sleep patterns. Depending on the model, you might see:

• Sleep duration and stages (like light, deep, and REM sleep)
• Heart rate and heart rate variability
• Blood oxygen levels
• Movement or restlessness during the night
• Daily activity and readiness scores

Check the product description for details on what each ring tracks, as features can vary between models.

Most sleep-tracking rings connect to a companion app on your smartphone or tablet. The app helps you view your sleep data, track trends, and sometimes set goals or reminders. Some rings require Bluetooth pairing, while others may sync data automatically. Be sure to check if the app is compatible with your device and if there are any subscription requirements. Using the app can enhance your experience and make it easier to understand your sleep patterns.
