Yes, you can use certain command hooks inside your shower, but it's important to choose ones specifically designed for wet environments. Look for hooks labeled as water-resistant or suitable for bathrooms. These hooks use adhesive strips that can handle humidity and moisture, making them ideal for hanging towels, loofahs, or robes. Always follow the installation instructions carefully and let the adhesive set for the recommended time before hanging items. This can help the hooks stay secure even with regular shower use.

Command hooks designed for bathrooms often stick well to smooth, non-porous surfaces like tile. Before applying, make sure the tile is clean and dry to help the adhesive bond properly. Avoid placing hooks on grout lines or textured surfaces, since the adhesive works best on flat areas. If you’re unsure, test a small area first. Proper surface prep and following the instructions can improve how well the hooks adhere in your bathroom.

• Start by cleaning the wall with rubbing alcohol to remove soap residue and moisture.
• Dry the surface completely before applying the adhesive strip.
• Follow the product instructions for placement and wait the recommended time before hanging anything.

Prepping your wall this way can help the hooks stick better and last longer, especially in humid conditions like showers.

Some command hooks are strong enough to hold lightweight shower caddies, but always check the weight limit listed on the packaging. If your caddy holds heavy bottles or multiple items, consider using multiple hooks or a hook specifically designed for higher weight capacity. For best results, install hooks on a smooth, dry surface and avoid overloading them. This can help keep your shower organized without drilling holes.

Command strips made for bathrooms are designed to handle moisture once they've fully set. If they get wet after installation, they usually stay secure as long as you followed the instructions and allowed the adhesive to cure. However, excessive or constant water exposure can affect performance over time. If you notice the hook loosening, remove it, clean the area, and reapply a new strip for continued use.
